2003-08-08 - 4:25 p.m.

I am going to see Interpol play tonight at the good ol' Corner Hotel in Richmond (Melbourne, Australia that is).

When you buy tickets for a concert it's always ages before the actual date and you get that fluttery anticipation thing happening cos it's gonna be such a cool night. you'll get drunk and happy and throw yourself around in front of the stage and get all sweaty and tired. yeah!

Then the night finally rolls around. it's really cold out. there's a great movie on TV. all your other friends (the ones without tickets to the concert) are going for a nice meal and drinks. you're tired. you don't feel like getting stupid-drunk and sweaty and you sure don't feel like getting dressed up. and geez, that was a lot of money to spend on two hours watching a bunch of guys jump around on stage. a warm bath and bed are looking mighty appealing.

Yup - but that's all the other times - I'm gonna have an awsome night!!!!!!!!
